You do not need many tools or gadgets to become a YouTube success. Keeping things simple is the key.

Recording Software

For those on a budget use Screencast-O-Matic.

If you can afford a bit more advanced then use Camtasia.

Microphones

For those on a budget, use the Blue Snowball microphone.

If you can afford a bit more, then I suggest the HyperX microphone.

Webcam

This plug and play webcam from Logitech is BY FAR the best value for money.

NOTE – if you are brand new then DO NOT buy this. Stay off camera.

YouTube Tool

You should download and install the TubeBuddy tool. It is FREE.
